Milan, 25/05/2021 – Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana has announced the finalists in the 7th Milano Moda Graduate, an event showcasing excellence in Italian fashion schools.
In its mission to support new talents through its Milano Moda Graduate project, CNMI seeks to create a rich and favourable environment in which to introduce emerging young talents to the fashion market and offer them an excellent networking opportunity, a platform on which to learn, discuss and be noticed by industry experts.
Also in this edition there is a section entirely dedicated to YKK Italia, which will allow a selection of 11 designers from Italian fashion schools to create an outfit entirely dedicated to closing accessories.
The finalists in the YKK category are Wu Yueqi (Istituto Marangoni); Laura Bigogno (NABA, Nuova accademia di Belle Arti); Giuseppina Carozza (Università degli studi della Campania Luigi Vanvitelli, Dept. DADI); Andrea Annarita Mazza (IED Istituto Europeo di Design); Luca Bianco (IED Istituto Europeo di Design); Sebastiano Blandizzi (Accademia di Brera); Zih-Ling Chen (Domus Academy); Sabrina Greta Tamanini (Domus Academy); Melania Spalletta (Harim Accademia Euromediterranea); Anna Dionisi_Leonardo Rossetto (Università IUAV, Venice).

Milano Moda Graduate is a single project providing space for all the professional figures in the fashion system. Ahead of the shows in September, it’s offering the students a course of mentoring, including workshops, specific consulting and direct contacts with companies, as well as ongoing tutoring for the production and styling of the capsule collections.
All the finalists’ collections will be presented during the September Milano Fashion Week, where an international panel of experts can make a hands-on appraisal of the progress made and objectives achieved by the young designers.

YKK has always believed in supporting creativity and talent, through concrete actions according to our Cycle of Goodness Philosophy, which embodies our belief that no one prospers without rendering benefits to others. This is the reason why YKK Italy has been the Main Partner of Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana for Milano Moda Graduate since 2018. Especially this year, in which the young generation has suffered so much because of the pandemic, YKK sees this contribution as an encouragement to remain strong and creative” said YKK Italia president Hitoshi Yamaguchi.
