YKK ITALIA hosted its customers at the Pero showroom, just outside Milan on the occasion of the “YKK Italia Open Days: New Projects and SS27 Collection unveiling” event; 3 days for discovering the new projects developed by YKK Italia.
For the occasion, different areas were set up inside the showroom for each project presented:
- Area dedicated to the collaboration between CLO and YKK® to discover the full potential of 3D design and digital innovation: through a hands-on session led by CLO technicians, visitors were able to discover how CLO’s cutting-edge tools are reshaping garment creation, sustainability and speed to market.
- Area dedicated to AiryString®, the exclusive tape-free zip designed to be sewn directly onto the fabric. Visitors were able to view the special Airystring® sewing machine in operation and test it personally with the support of specialized YKK technicians.
- Area dedicated to the first Italian REPAIRING HUB and wholesale UPCYCLING projects created by PRISM Impresa Sociale with the collaboration of YKK® to discover the secrets for replacing closure accessories and contribute to the development of circular fashion.
- Area dedicated to the SS27 Collection, full of news for the clothing, leather goods and footwear sector.
- Participants at the event were also able to explore the rich archive present in the YKK Italia showroom, a space that collects the history of the company and the know-how accumulated over over 50 years, always open for those who wish to know more about YKK products and consult numerous catalogues.
