YKK and Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana are glad to announce the winners of the 6th edition of Milano Moda Graduate, an event showcasing the best talents of the Italian fashion schools, which was hosted at La Permanente venue
on September 27, 2020. Host of the event was BELLAMY.
The prestigious jury, headed by Carlo Capasa (Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, Chairman), awarded Giulia Barbieri (Istituto modartech) with the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana Fashion Award.
The monetary prize was assigned by the Camera Moda Fashion Trust to support her growing path.
YKK Italia, Milano Moda Graduate’s main partner, selected Lucia Grande (NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti) as the winner of the YKK Prize, among the 11 designers from Italian fashion schools who created special outfits with a focus on fastening accessories. The winner, presented by YKK Italia president Hitoshi Yamaguchi, received a monetary prize to invest in the development of his fashion career; will receive, for a year, a supply of YKK products and will have the opportunity to visit the YKK factory in Vercelli.
Moreover, YKK Italia decided to assign a special recognition to Alessandro Rupilli (IED – Istituto Europeo di Design) for his strong commitment, giving him the chance to obtain an annual supply of YKK fastening accessories.
In keeping with its constant support to the promotion of emerging fashion designers, Vogue Talents also assigned an award to Alberto Cornolò (Università IUAV di Venezia). The winner in this category will be the protagonist of an exclusive editorial running in Vogue Talents.
The event Milano Moda Graduate was transmitted with a streaming signal through milanofashionweek.cameramoda.it and amplified all of over the world, thus covering all time zones simultaneously thanks to our four international streaming partners: Kommersant Publishing house covering Russia, transmitted at 6pm local time; Tencent Video for continental China (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) at 11pm Beijing time; The Asahi Shimbun for Japan at midnight local time and The New York Times for the United States, at 11am New York time.
Our Italian OOH streaming partner Urban Vision showcased the event on maxi screens positioned throughout the city of Milan (Corso Garibaldi, Piazza San Babila, Alzaia Naviglio).
