YKK meets MILANO MODA GRADUATE – June 15th 2018, Milan – Via Savona 56, 4 p.m.
MILANO MODA GRADUATE, the event that chronicles and celebrates the fashion education system in Italy, has found a new exceptional partner in this fourth edition: YKK.
YKK which has always been close to every form of artistic expression and faithful to its role as a partner of creativity, once again finds itself accompanying and encouraging young designers in their educational and cognitive journey.
The project has involved four of the most prestigious italian schools of Fashion:
Accademia Costume & Moda, Istituto Europeo di Design, Istituto Marangoni, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti.
From mid april till the fashion show in June the 15th, the selected designers have worked on a collection of 8 items to show on the runway. Two of those outfits in the collection are dedicated to YKK and projected after a training course on fastening accessories organized by YKK.
The event will open Men’s Fashion Week on June 15th at 56 Via Savona in Milan.
YKK’s message is very clear. The strength of YKK message is clear. From an annual production line of literally billions of fastenings and fastening parts a year and a seemingly infinite series of colours, patterns and materials available to it, YKK will use its knowledge and know-how to create a series of products for top creative talents to find inspiration from. Put simply – if a young creative talent has a concept, our products can help make it a reality.
