Fashion, art and design have once again been great protagonists in Catania thanks to Madeinmedi, Mediterranean Design & Fashion Week. A week, from 9 to 14 July, full of creativity and professionalism, including fashion shows, shooting, competitions for new faces, showreel, praemium to prestigious names and design exhibitions. A rich program that introduced young Sicilian designers graduated from the Catania Euromediterranean Academy.
Also this year, YKK Italia renewed its support as the main sponsor of the event and provided the students of the Euromediterranean Academy with the materials to create a capsule collection and a fashion film.
For the 2018 edition protagonists were the waterproof zipppers on a beachwear collection: four different sea proposals between color contrasts and well-defined cuts. To tell the capsule collection “Harim for YKK” a fashion film reminiscent of the famous Californian music festival: Coachella.
