BURANI TOKYO UNFIN

Cristiano Burani reinterprets the Japanese imagination through the use of manual processes applied to precious materials.

Obi, college style and dolls, kimono, sumo, as elements of a new story, broken down in their essence and reused as inspiration for a feminine, urban and contemporary total look. The winter colors of Tokyo are reproduced with the dyeing of the garment that creates irregular shades as abstract and three-dimensional models. The warm tones inspired by the autumn foliage of Japanese gardens are reproduced with handmade multicolor flocked prints. Cashmere coats, alpaca jackets, trench coats and samurai leather trousers are embroidered with mohair threads on the edges with geometric motifs, enriched with a macro zip size 30 YKK.
