Nomex® Flame and Heat Resistant Zipper
Nomex® is a flame-resistant zipper used in industrial applications, available in both metal and molded-plastic VISLON® versions. It features a non-conductive, self-locking metal slider. Flame and heat resistance are ensured by the use of meta-aramid fiber tape and high-temperature-resistant VISLON® teeth; these features provide the zipper with superior mechanical strength, a crucial requirement for personal protective equipment.
