The products of the YKK® FlexFix® range guarantee up to 50,000 opening and closing cycles* without significant wear of the functional parts thanks to the polyacetal resin (POM) insert. The internal metal part has in fact been replaced by one in high quality elastic plastic.
The two FlexFix® DUP4 and DUP 6 sizes are ideal for both upholstery and heavy fabrics; it is also possible to vary the opening force and a wide range of galvanic finishes is available. There is also the possibility of producing them in steel material, mainly suitable for use in the food/industrial sectors; in this case the polyacetal resin (POM) eliminates the risk of an extreme increase in opening values (cold fusion) caused by degreasing during industrial washing.
