YKK announces the winners of the seventh edition of Milano Moda Graduate

Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana has announced the winners of the seventh edition of Milano Moda Graduate, an event dedicated to the excellence of Italian fashion schools, whose final act took place at La Permanente on 26th September 2021. Host of the event was Loretta Grace , singer, actress and creator.

The important jury, chaired by Carlo Capasa (President of CNMI) and composed of Serge Brunschwig (Charman and CEO of Fendi); Scarlett Conlon (Freelance Journalist); Jacopo Etro (Creative Director of Etro Collections Home, Accessories and Furnishing Fabrics); George Fontas (Vice President / GMM | TRW, Outerwear, Swim, IA and small BG Bergdorf Goodman); Riccardo Grassi (President of Riccardo Grassi Showroom); Barbara Kennedy (Co-founder Fasion Minority Alliance); Luke Leitch (Contributing Editor | Editor at Large | Fashion Editor); Elia Maramotti (Head of the Max & co. Brand); Suzy Menkes (Leading Fashion Authority | Suzy Menkes Creative Conversation Podcast); Federica Montelli (Responsible buyer La Rinascente Milan); Paolo Riva (General Manager Brand Partnership @Merchandising Neiman Marcus); Stefano Roncato (Editor in Chief MF Fashion); Andrea Rosso (Creative Director of Licenses and Diesel Sustainability Ambassador); Giacomo Santucci (President of Camera Buyer); Alessandro Sartori (Artistic Director of the Zegna Group); Letizia Schatzinger (Fashion Director Dlui – La Repubblica; Sara Sozzani Maino (CNMI International Brand Ambassador; Deputy Editor In Chief Vogue Italia and Head of Vogue Talents); Hitoshi Yamaguchi (President of YKK Italia) and Maria Maddalena Del Grosso (Manager Consumer Goods ICE – Agency) awarded Gabriele Larcher (Costume & Moda Academy) with the Italian Chamber of Fashion Fashion Award.

YKK Italia reconfirms itself as Main Partner of Milano Moda Graduate also for this edition. with an entirely dedicated section. YKK Italy has selected Anna Dionisi – Leonardo Rossetto (IUAV University of Venice) as winners of the YKK Prize among 11 design students from Italian fashion schools, who were asked to create a special outfit focused on the use of closure accessories. The winners, who were awarded by the president of YKK Italy, Hitoshi Yamaguchi, received a cash prize to invest in the development of their career in the fashion world and will receive, for one year, a supply of YKK products. In addition, for the commitment shown, YKK Italy has decided to assign a special recognition to Luca Bianco (IED – European Institute of Design), also reserving an annual supply of YKK products for him.

In line with its constant commitment to promoting emerging designers, Vogue Talents has awarded an award to Emilia Torcini (Modartech Institute). The winner of this category will be the protagonist of an exclusive editorial published on Vogue Talents.
